"Let us bid farewell to Mr TKL posters with gratitude & appreciation" — Netizen bids farewell to Tan Kin Lian following PE2023
SINGAPORE: An online user took to social media to bid farewell to Tan Kin Lian posters after the 2023 Presidential Elections. In response to the post, netizens were left wondering whether the writer was being serious or sarcastic.
The netizen took to the Complaint Singapore Facebook group on Sunday (Sept 3) to share a farewell message for PE2023 posters of Mr Tan.

"Dear Brothers and Sisters," the letter read. "It is with mixed emotions that we gather here today to bid farewell to our favorite presidential candidate, Mr. TKL posters. For a few weeks, he has captured our attention and sparked our imaginations with his bold ideas and charismatic presence.

Responding to the heartfelt post, some netizens left their two cents in the comments section. "It is really sad that I won't be seeing him on TV again," said one. "He has brought so much joy and laughter to me and my family. We couldn't stop laughing whenever he speaks..."
